The US Navy Intercepts and Shot Down 15 Drones in the Red Sea Area

In a recent military operation, the United States Navy ships and aircraft intercepted and destroyed 15 unmanned aerial vehicles (UAVs) launched by Yemen’s Houthi rebels in the Red Sea region.

This action was taken in response to a large-scale attack orchestrated by “Iranian-backed Houthi terrorists” targeting the Red Sea and Gulf of Aden.

The attack occurred between 4 a.m. and 6:30 a.m. and posed a direct threat to merchant vessels, the U.S. Navy, and coalition ships in the area. CENTCOM has released a statement detailing the events.

The successful interception of unmanned aerial vehicles (UAVs) by U.S. Navy assets highlights the military’s commitment to safeguarding the safety and security of maritime operations in the region.
