Air Chief Orders Crackdown on Terrorists, Oil Thieves.
Air Marshal Hasan Abubakar, Chief of Air Staff, has directed Air Component Commanders to intensify military operations against terrorists and oil thieves.
During a virtual meeting in Abuja on Monday, he praised their exemplary performance and emphasized their vital contribution to the nation’s safety and security, noting that their dedication and tactical efforts have resulted in numerous successful missions.
“The Chief of Air Staff (CAS) expressed pride in the achievements of the Service and the entire nation. He stated that the relentless pursuit of excellence and commitment to duty have not gone unnoticed, and the recent operational successes are a testament to the leadership and professionalism of the men and women under command.

He emphasized that the challenges are far from over and called on the commanders to maintain the momentum while remaining vigilant.
He also reassured the commanders that the NAF leadership remains fully committed to their welfare and the provision of needed resources and equipment to enhance operational capabilities.
The CAS expressed confidence in their ability to deliver on their mandate, stressing that the nation’s security and peace are paramount.
He charged them to intensify their efforts and push forward with even greater determination, while also assuring that the Nigerian Air Force will continue to provide all necessary support to ensure the success of our missions.”
